Description Description
Creekside Livin is a family home with a backyard oasis, on Horsepen Creek, with a large fixed dock over the water for entertaining and a floating dock for launching kayaks or getting close to nature. Fully furnished with a balance of new and antique furniture, multiple large living areas, a fenced yard with patio, furnished screened-in porch, boathouse, and outdoor shower. The 5 bedrooms and 3 baths give this home plenty of room to spread out, relax, and enjoy the sunsets over the water.

Centrally located on the island, with its gardens, large trees, and landscaping, this home is a quiet nature retreat. It is a 10-15 minute walk down one residential street to the beach. The gardens start at the street with large mature trees, tables, and benches to greet your friends for coffee in the mornings. There is a lighted parking area for up to 4 cars directly in front of the house for easy access. The front entry opens to that comfortably furnished living room. The living room offers a flat-screen TV with built-in Surround Sound. Off the living room is a guest bedroom, including a bunk bed with a fold-down double futon on the bottom and a twin on top. There is a full bath with a walk-in shower attached to this bedroom with a full-sized washer and dryer.

The kitchen is updated with granite counters, stainless appliances, a dining table for 8, island seating for 3, and a breakfast table for 4. Behind the kitchen is another large living space that offers a 50-inch flat-screen TV with surround sound, comfortable lounge seating, a queen sleeper sofa, and a wall of windows looking out on the screened-in porch and courtyard. Off of this room is the true primary bedroom of the home, offering a king bed, seating, TV, ceiling fan, beautiful views of the courtyard, and an attached bath, which is also accessible from the hall.

Down the hall from the main entry, you will find two guest bedrooms, both furnished with queen beds and another full kitchen and bath. There is an additional king bedroom with a door out to a hidden deck with a swing and gated access to the courtyard.

The outdoor spaces are a bonus! The house sits back from the street and away from traffic, creating a quiet oasis. The home includes a nicely furnished screened porch, open courtyard, large patio, outdoor shower, large deck over the water, floating dock, and a furnished boathouse. The boathouse is a great additional living space with seating, Ping Pong table, sink with running water, window AC, ceiling fan, small mini-fridge, and more. The dock is perfect for entertaining, fishing, birdwatching, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The 10X16 floating dock can be used to moor your boat or launch kayaks. You will love the Creekside location, peaceful setting, and newly updated living spaces.

I almost don't want to leave a good review because I don't want to find my week unavailable next trip. But that being said, I cannot say enough about how much my family loved this house. The fridge did leak, and the latch on the backdoor was broke, and the third bathroom was out of order, but even with these issues, it was a wonderful stay. I loved sitting on the screened in back porch and painting, nd listening to the people on the other side of the creek at night playing guitar and singing. mY son and my grandchildrens other set of grandparents enjoyed many hours fishing from the dock, the back yard was fenced which was great for letting the grandchildren run around and play. We got to watch the antics of a couple of raccoons at the house next door, the kids enjoyed that. Im pretty sure we heard some dolphins chattering in the creek one night. The game room was awesome the teenagers put it to good use. The grill was wonderful to have, and the property has a few little secret spaces great for getting away from the crowd but I wont spoil them for you, you will just have to explore for yourself. The second kitchen wasn't used, but was awesome to have the option of, I could see it coming in handy for certain families. All in all my entire family of 10 agrees that this is the best vacation house we have ever rented and when I suggested us trying something different this year 7 out of 10 wanted to go back to this place.. of the three others, one of them is a 3 year old she had no opinion, and the other two wanted to rent in savannah for the shopping potential. But if we couldnt do that then they wanted to stay here again.

Spent an amazing week at Creekside Livin. The home surpassed all of our expectations. It was beautifully decorated yet comfortable for our large family. The beach was easily accessible by a short bike ride or 10 minute walk. The neighborhood was quiet. We will definitely be back!

From start to finish our Tybee Island vacation was wonderful! The staff went above and beyond to help us find a place that would accommodate my large family. Creekside Livin was perfect! We instantly felt comfortable and at home. The only downfall was the a/c was turned way up and it took quite a while to cool down but once it did it was perfect. We usually try to stay right on the beach but lost nothing with this location being marshside. The boathouse and dock area was a plus we all enjoyed. It was definitely one of the funnest places we have ever stayed. The house is a mixture of so many different styles and rooms and decorations that you never get tired of looking around. The courtyard and the landscaping is absolutely beautiful!! It is evident that this house is very much loved! I cant say enough about how clean and comfortable it was! We hope to one day go back again one day soon.

Perfect for Our Girl Scout Troop
Home well-appointed for our group, plenty of towels, sheets, spare blankets and pillows, closet space, and just space in general to sprawl. Lovely yard with all sorts of fruit trees and critters and landscaping, shade, screened porch, green house, fire pit, boat house, outdoor seating and table space, gas grill, boat dock. Almost every bedroom had a TV and even its own entry door. 2 KITCHENS made cooking a breeze to cut our eat out budget. 2 living rooms-plenty of place to sprawl for the girls to have afternoon quiet time. 3 baths with showers+the outdoor one made getting everyone ready a time-saving endeavor. To echo another review, the fridge is still leaking ice, but we did have hot water for 10 showers in the mornings+dishes. We even had a spigot that wouldn't turn off (they brought in a plumber to fix it) so hot water ran for nearly an hour and we still had enough for dishes so I think they've corrected that.

August 2016 Stay
We had a very pleasant stay. The home was spacious clean and comfortable. Having a dock in the rear with a place to drop kayaks and a beautiful view of the back Creek was a real bonus! The service and communication from the rental staff was exceptional. Some minor issues we experienced that could be improved for the next guest:1) The propane on the grill ran out2) Hot water only lasted for one person to take a quick shower3) Ice dispenser leaks onto kitchen floor and is ruining the hardwood4) One of the back screen doors has a bad hinge and needs to be replaced5)To echo another reviewer please add some kind of latch to the front door so that toddlers will not wander out into the street. The current door is very easy for them to open.

July 2016 Stay
The house and the accommodations were fabulous! The location close to the beach, but away from the major traffic and pedestrian patterns was even better. Having the extra space in the boat house was also useful. We took full advantage to having dock access and rented kayaks. We had every age represented in out party from a one-year-old to teenagers to adults and grandparents and everyone enjoyed the house and yard. The only negative was the internet that continued to go out for those of us who needed it because it was a working vacation. I would suggest a way to lock the front door from the inside as with young children, they can easily open the door and leave the house without anyone noticing.

Great home for family vacation
We rented Creekside Livin' for our family beach vacation. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was efficient and well equipped. The second refrigerator was helpful because we prepared most of our meals at the house.. The outside grill was great for this. A second tank of propane was dropped off for us, which was nice. There were lots of spaces to sit, in small and large groupings.. 2 of the bathrooms were fine. The third has a very small corner shower, not comfortable to use for anyone who isn't petite. We appreciated the full size washer and dryer as there were small kids with us. Our favorite spot was out on the dock in the morning for coffee. We had a great time watching the wildlife and the tides go in and out. We never got to use the firepit, but that space is nice too. It is a 15 minute walk to the beach, but it is a straight shot down 6th St to the beach access. And that section of beach was never crowded. All in all, this was a great location for our first Tybee Island vacation and we are planning on coming back next year.
