Island Bliss

We had a wonderful stay at Island Bliss. The cottage was just perfect for my husband and I and our two teenage children. The house is decorated adorably, it was very clean, and it contained all of the appliances we needed for cooking. We really felt like we were home (rather than at a generic rental). The location couldn't be better... you walk out through the back driveway (room for a second car to park there), and in two blocks you are at the beach. It is also adjacent to Jaycee Park (bike and walking trail), where you can bird watch. The pool alone was worth the price of the house. It is surrounded by lush foliage, the water is warm and we swam at all hours of the day and night. Will definitely be back!

This was the probably the most peaceful vacation I have ever taken. The house is exactly as described. Adorable, clean, tons of dishes and linens provided. The upstairs beds are very small but perfect for children. Pool area is very secluded and spacious but only gets full sun (in October) from around noon until 3 pm because of the greenery coverage. Other times you need to be in a corner of the pool for sun. There are outside speakers, but fyi this is a very quiet part of the island. We hardly saw neighbors except for our second day there, noon on Sunday, when the neighbor asked us to turn our music down which was on volume setting 2. We used our phones or small bluetooth speaker for the remainder of our stay. The last brick step from the house to the pool area is dangerous as it is a short and narrow step that can be tricky to maneuver. Very short walk to the beach where meter parking is available. Great property, but for a pool with full sun experience rather than the beach, this is not the best choice. The south side of the island is more active with beachfront properties if you are looking for more outdoor interaction.

As always, we had a Great time on the Island and this was our first time staying at Island Bliss by ourselves while our 4 adult children stayed at Beach Song (obviously not far enough away from us..lol). We absolutely loved this place and can't wait to come back to it again next year!!

We enjoyed our stay. The pool was perfect. The kitchen was great. Plenty of dishes that we only ran the dishwasher once at night. Speakers inside and out was great for the mood. Wish there was more parking but just down the street were spots we could use.

This home was spacious, clean, and just as pictured. This was a great location for food around the corner and a walk through the park and beach. Our English Bulldog loves Tybee Island vibes and the Island Bliss Home was perfect for him to relax with his family. We loved our stay and plan to book again.

We absolutely loved the little house. For two people it really did meet our needs and having a private personal pool was so worth it. The house is on the small side but we personally didn't need a lot of space. Also being just a couple of blocks from the beach was beneficial. We look forward to coming back!

Perfect, lovely cottage & quiet. First time we stayed at that end of the island. The only negative was the lowest brick step to pool was not user friendly!

Fantastic location, clean house w everything you need. Our stay was wonderful. Only downside is 1 small parking space available so no golf cart rental.

The kitchen was so well stocked with cooking utensils, and the gas stove and dishwasher made cooking and cleanup a breeze. Definitely helps to be able to eat at 'home' instead of eating out all the time. There's a corner store that's open late and two restaurants within walking distance. The IGA Grocery isn't a far drive, and you can stock up the Keurig there. Don't forget your tequila for the margaritta maker! The cabin is the perfect size for a couple, family, or small group of friends, and seats everyone well. You could easily push it to 6 if you're sharing the bedroom and couch. Defintely our new favorite getaway!

Island Bliss is now our new favorite rental! Very nicely decorated and comfortable. The pool was great (thanks for having pool floats for us!) and I love that it was a salt water system. We have been regular visitors to Tybee for years and have rented several places through a couple different companies. TVR always provides the best service. The house was VERY CLEAN, and the bed and bath linens were like new. After a busy summer of rentals, that means a lot. I will caution that if you plan to use the loft, it might be tricky. it's pretty small and the highest point is maybe 5 ft and the knee walls are like 2 ft. Went up there to sleep when my hubby was snoring and hit my head a couple of times getting in/out. However the beds are comfy and would be ok for the right age/size kids. Short walk to beach (cut through the back 'alley' from 2nd parking spot). Jaycee Park right outside your front door. We highly recommend Island Bliss and TVR! Thanks for being dog-friendly!

Wonderful Tybee cottage! Perfect for a couple. Great location so close to the beach and awesome restaurants. We highly recommend Bubba Gumbos for fresh, grilled fish and the North Beach Grill for beach side fun and great bands. The cottage pool was so relaxing!

Island Bliss was the perfect spot for our family of four Spring Break vacation. Quiet and comfortable with all the comforts of home. And even a fun margarita machine that we made coke slushies with!!! A short walk to the beach and lighthouse area and close to many dining options. The salt water pool was fabulous and a great place to hang out for coffee in the morning. The water was still a little cool to my liking, but my kids spent hours in it. Looking forward to our summer visit! Oh, and super clean!!!!

The Island Bliss cottage was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed being able to walk to one of the island beaches, lighthouse area and restaurants. The cottage is Beachy, cozy and the salt water pool is great to cool off in and enjoy a cocktail.

This home was a great place to unwind & unplug. Everything you need is with in walking distance. Walk (4min) to the light house & then have a cocktail & appetizer at North Beach Grill. Don't miss out & eat dinner at 80 East (6min walk) they have amazing food & service. It's a short drive to Savannah & historical homes. This home had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Tybee Vacations was easy & very friendly to work with. The only thing negative is the cheap bed sheets (bring your own if you like soft sheets) & the extremely small tv's, which could be upgraded at a very small cost. That is all the negative I could think of - it's truly a wonderful home & in a GREAT location. We will book this home again for a quiet get away. Thank you for a great week! Mr. & Mrs. Moore

We enjoyed our trip and stay at 'Island Bliss'. We've used Tybee Vacation Rentals several times over the years and they are always super easy to deal with and always a safe bet! This house is PERFECT for a young family of 4. We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk to the N. Beach. If walking, easy exit out the back of the lot. Approximately a 2 block walk and really easy. The house was clean and well stocked for every need we required. The Margaritaville Blender was a hit. The master bedroom was comfy, but the TV was small. The upstairs has low ceilings and small, but was perfect for our kids ages 10 & 12. The outside pool area was nice and we spent a lot of time there at all times of the day. We did have to constantly clean the debris from the pool(winds blow leaves, pine needles, etc) into the pool. The covered area by the pool was nice and a great escape from the sun and having a grill is always a plus. Parking is tight especially if you drive a larger vehicle. Overall Excellent Stay and memories made!

My family & I really enjoyed our stay at The Island Bliss Cottage. The location was great! It's on the North end of the island and walking distance to the beach, The Light House, North Beach Grill & The Tybee Island Marine Science Center. The cottage is on a quiet street directly across from a well manicured park with walking trails and a nice shaded playground. The cottage is small but gets tons of natural sunlight so it feels larger. The space is well-appointed & suited our needs comfortably. The kitchen was very well stocked to prepare any type of meal or dessert. The cottage was clean and the decor made it feel charming & fun! Our 4 year old twins loved the pool, it was a good size and clean upon arrival. The upstairs sleeping loft was perfectly sized for small children and once they got accustomed to the lower ceilings they really enjoyed their fort like space. I would highly recommend booking Island bliss, it was perfect for our family of 4. We will definitely be back!
