Two of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, each featuring a king-sized bed as well as a flat-screen TV. They both have access to the shared full bathroom, which has a walk-in shower.

PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches.
EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. The location is great, a few minutes walk to the beach, and there were some great aspects- the front porch is wonderful, the king beds felt luxurious, and there's a lot of natural light. However, there were some downsides- the upstairs mini-split AC didn't work through the entirety of our stay, and the upstairs was uncomfortably hot during the daylight hours. There were clearly some corners cut- the dishwasher (half-size for a home sleeping 6) was not properly installed, and it rocks back and forth and it's challenging to get it to latch. The upstairs shower was not properly installed, and water runs out of it and there's clear water damage to the floor and ceiling. The property was affordable and the location was great, but I'm not sure I would rent it again.

The house itself indoors was mostly very nice. However, the dryer did not get fixed during our stay and the upstairs air conditioning was not sufficient to cool. We had to stay out of the upstairs most of the day which was frustrating because my husband enjoyed using the work area. Also, the proximity to the restaurant led to smokers and cigarette butts in the driveway as well as the dumpster which was overflowing the day we arrived. Although the restaurant staff was friendly this was less than ideal for a family vacation atmosphere.
My family and I arrived for our yearly vacation at Tybee Island for the first time. I will definitely do my homework before going on vacation again. The home was really pretty and decorated nicely. However, the dryer would not dry our towels the first time I used it, the air conditioner did not cool the upstairs as it should and it felt like a heat box upstairs during the daytime. My daughter had to go buy 2 box fans just to get it to cool down at night. The upstairs bathroom was like a tiny closet that was made into a shower, you could not move around in it very well because of the size and if you are tall forget it because the ceiling is slanted and you can’t stand up straight. I called the rental place and they did everything they could to get things fixed. They sent techs quickly and did their best. Unfortunately, the owner of the unit has to give approval to the managing company before any repairs are completed, and this did not happen. I feel the unit was misrepresented because the upstairs bathroom really can’t be considered a second bathroom because of the shower issue and it is so hot up there that my entire family had to take turns showering in the one bathroom downstairs. The managing company provides the towels and you have to wash everything daily, so that was a problem with the broken dryer. There were weeds all in front of the house and it appears that nobody is manicuring the area. The parking was so narrow between the rental and the next door restaurant that we could barely fit our 2 vehicles there, and there is no other parking unless you pay by the hour, which is very expensive. I think the owner of this unit needs to get some repairs done and stop advertising 2 bathrooms, because a family of 6 definitely cannot stay comfortably in this home the way it is currently. I am very disappointed that I paid so much for this place and had so many problems.
