Serenity By The Sea

We so enjoyed our stay in Tybee! Rental was just as advertised and check in was a breeze. We were just a short walk to the beach, where we saw dolphins playing and ships sailing upriver. We rented a golf cart and tooled around the island. Lighthouse Beach was just a short ride away. Pool was small, but we were happy to have one. Overall, was a great vacation!

We had the best family vacation!!! We had all of our kids and had so much fun!! House was clean and beautiful!! We loved it!! Loved the almost private beach!! Great location!! My husband and I renewed our vows on the beach!! The screened porch and pool area were great!! The extra fridge by the pool came in handy!! Ping pong table was fun too!!!! Great house!!!!!

Had a wonderful 1st Anniversary trip to Serenity By the Sea. The house was beautifully decorated and steps from the ocean. We really enjoyed relaxing on the enclosed porch and swimming in the heated pool. Great memories made! Can't wait to come back!

A much needed vacation that was very serene. Loved the screened in porch, so relaxing in the morning and evening. The kitchen is well equipped as well. Short walk to the beach which felt like a private beach with lots of dolphins to watch! We will definitely stay in this home again.

Beautiful, very homey and comfortable home-away-from-home! Loved the screened-in porch for morning coffee and Bible reading and for evening games. Short walk to the beach and so many dolphins! Lots of room for our group of 7. Would definitely stay here again!

We love Tybee. This is our 3rd time here and we choose Tybee over Charleston even with a longer drive from Asheville. Perfect end of year getaway. Now I find myself pulling for the Georgia Bulldogs! Go Dawgs!

Booked this late—March, as we were all coming out of the pandemic—so this was the best of what was available. Comfortable, well-decorated, quiet inside, screened-in porch was a plus for us to eat dinners outside. The pool area was terrific. Maintenance responded immediately to our one need during our stay. Walking distance to a couple good pizza stores and a bicycle rental place. This house is probably optimal for 4-6 people. Down side as has been noted is it’s proximity to US-80, so if outside on the porch, you get high decibel levels from the Heroes of the Asphalt, gunning their pickup trucks’ down the road. Also, a bunch of people use Byers Street and this driveway as a turnaround (last street before leaving the island, or they couldn’t find parking at Hucapoos), so we just blocked the driveway with our van. Happy with this house based on the timing of our search.

We visited this property over fall break with our family. The pool, ping pong table, kids loft, and easy beach access made for an amazing trip. The home is on the north end of the island and just steps from the beach and local shopping. Tons of outdoor entertaining space to enjoy. We'll be back, for sure!

The location was great with just a short walk to the beach. Very spacious house and the outdoor porch was amazing. The upstairs master and queen room was very spacious and clean. The two bedrooms downstairs were extremely small and the queen room bed downstairs was not very comfortable. The pool was a great size for our two kids. The pool was not the cleanest though. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay
