Description
Sandcastle is a nicely furnished home with water views from the two levels of furnished porches. Watch the ships as they pass to and from the Port of Savannah. Head out to the beach and enjoy beautiful sunsets, watch the bottlenose dolphins play, or walk East along the Savannah River to the Atlantic Ocean. You will be just steps away from the beach, as the beach the nearest beach access is located just 25 yards from the home.
Sandcastle offers an inverted floor plan with the living spaces located on the third floor. On this level, you will find a wonderful open floor plan with a spacious kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances, a breakfast bar with seating for two, and a dining area with table seating for 8. The living area offers a large flat-screen TV with a DVD player and a Queen sleeper sofa. There is also access to the 3rd level furnished balcony. Additionally, there is a full bath, laundry room with washer and dryer, and a Queen bedroom with 24-inch flat-screen TV located on this level. Walk up the stairs to find the loft which offers 2 Twin beds. (elevator does not go to this top floor bedroom.)
The second floor of the home features a combined 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a balcony furnished with rocking chairs. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, and an attached bathroom with a separate shower and whirlpool tub. The balcony on this floor can be accessed from the primary bedroom and from the hall. The other two bedrooms are furnished with Queen beds. On the ground level of the home, you will find the garage and an outdoor grill. There is also an outdoor shower so you can rinse off at the front prior to coming back in from the beach. Please note fireplaces are decorative only.
Parking for up to 4 vehicles - 3 cars in the driveway and 1 car in the garage. Sandcastle is one side of a duplex townhome. A residential elevator is available to access the upper floors. This home is not pet-friendly.
Need more space for your upcoming vacation? Then consider also renting a neighboring home. Molliewood is a 5 bedroom neighboring home which sleeps up to 12, Northern Exposure is a 3 Bedroom home that sleeps up to 9. Does this home have an elevator?
Answer:
Yes, there is a private elevator in this home. The elevator can be accessed from the ground level and goes all the way to the 3rd floor (it does not go up to the 4th floor with the twin beds). This amenity is for convenience only. If lack of an elevator will create safety issues with guests entering/exiting the property we suggest choosing a more accessible/ground level unit. Our staff will be happy to review available options with you.
