Welcome to Our Happy Place! Located on the quiet, family-friendly North end of Tybee Island, Our Happy Place is a lovely 5 bedroom, 3 and a half bath home that features 2 levels of balconies with a partial bay view. The home is situated within 1 block of the nearest beach access at Byers Street.
The home's main living spaces are on the third floor. The large open floor plan features the living, kitchen, and dining areas which have access to the third-floor balcony. Enjoy partial views of the bay while sipping sweet tea on the top-level balcony which includes a gas grill. The living area has a large flat-screen TV mounted over the decorative fireplace that can also be viewed from the kitchen and dining area; along with a sleeper sofa for extra bedding. Guests can enjoy cocktails overlooking the bay from the convenience of a built-in wet bar - complete with a wine cooler. Enjoy cooking and entertaining your guests in the fully equipped open concept kitchen which has a gas stove, breakfast bar, and seating for four. The dining area of the home offers a table seating 6. The home offers many wonderful amenities like hardwood floors, comfortable furnishings, and a large flat-screen TV in the living room with a Bose sound system. Also located on this level is a half bath.
The second floor features a contemporary main bedroom suite with a King size bed with access to the attached wrap-around balcony with a partial view of the Savannah River. The large ensuite primary bathroom has dual vanities, a whirlpool tub, and a large glass-enclosed shower with dual showerheads. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a Queen size Daybed with a Twin Trundle and a TV. This bedroom is accessible from both the hallway and has attached double doors to the primary which can be closed off. Bedroom 3, on this level, is furnished with a Queen bed. Both guest bedrooms have a flat-screen TV and offer nearby access to the second full guest bathroom in the hall. Also located on this level is the laundry room.
There are 2 bedrooms on the ground level. Bedroom 4 is furnished with a Queen size bed and a TV. And Bedroom 5 has a twin bed. There is an all-new, full bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground level. The garage area has been transformed into an entertainment area complete with games, a beverage fridge and a bar. There is a large flat-screen TV that has Roku for streaming. Challenge your friends to a game of Ping Pong or Darts! There is an elevator to make transporting luggage and groceries up to the third floor a breeze. Parking is available for up to 4 cars in the driveway, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
Our Happy Place is located in the North Beach area of Tybee Island. There is a beach, but no large wave action. The North Beach is considered a bay, it is where the Savannah River meets the ocean. You can watch dolphins at play, shrimp boats, and the large container ships travel to and from the Port of Savannah. The beach access point is located within 1 block, on the corner of Byers St and Bay St. It is 600 feet to the boardwalk and another 600 feet and you are on the beach.
MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.
PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval and additional pet fees. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches
EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. Does this home have an elevator?

Yes, there is a private elevator in this home. The elevator can be accessed from the ground level and goes all the way to the 3rd floor. This amenity is for convenience only. If lack of an elevator will create safety issues with guests entering/exiting the property we suggest choosing a more accessible/ground level unit. Our staff will be happy to review available options with you.
