Description Description
Officers Row is spacious and beautifully well-appointed and will offer your family a quiet, private escape on Tybee Island. The home was originally built in 1904 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and located in the historic Fort Screven area of Tybee in a quiet residential setting across from Jaycee Park and only 200 yards away from access to the North Beach. The property has been completely remodeled and furnished with high-end items so that guests can stay in a historic home and have a unique vacation experience. On the main level, the original hardwood floors and woodwork are still there, as are the beautiful tray ceilings. In addition, 12ft ceilings and large windows add to the home's open feel. You will love spending time on the 2,800 sq ft of wrap-around porches that offer views of the ocean and are comfortably furnished. There is also an enclosed brick courtyard with a private 12` x 20` pool, jetted spa*, lounge seating, gas grill, fire pit, and a table that seats 7.

The home's main level features a gourmet kitchen with all stainless appliances, granite counters, a Subzero fridge, and a flat-top Viking range. There is a breakfast nook with seating for six and a 22" flat-screen TV, and a separate formal dining area with seating for 6-8. The living room includes a 42-inch flat-screen TV, A separate den also offers additional space to relax during your stay. A guest bedroom with a double bed is located off the kitchen and includes a private bath with marble counters and a walk-in shower. Access to the basement game room is off of the kitchen. The game room consists of a ping-pong table, a foosball table, a small TV, and other yard games.

The second floor of the home has three bedrooms and two baths which include a King bedroom with a 32-inch flat-screen TV, a bedroom with 2 Queen beds, and a room perfect for kids or teenagers, which is furnished with 2 Twin beds, 32 inches flat-screen TV, DVD, PS One Game System and attached private bath with claw foot tub/shower and marble counters. There is an additional full bath off the hall with a clawfoot tub, a separate walk-in shower, and a double vanity with marble countertops.

Additional amenities at the property include WIFI access, an outdoor shower, and many special touches. Unfortunately, this home is not pet-friendly.
*Spa heat is available for an extra $25 per day (please note that heating is not available in January or February).

Need more space for your upcoming vacation? Then consider also renting White Caps, a five-bedroom neighboring home that sleeps up to 10, or Flip Flop Lagoon, a four-bedroom that sleeps 10. Combined with Officers Row, that would be 14 bedrooms, sleeping up to 30 guests.

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.

Beautiful historic home steps from the beach!

We had a wonderful stay in this house. It is a large historic home right across the street from the beach. The kitchen is up to date and the interiors are charming. It was a fairly easy check in and out and we had everything we needed. Would recommend it!

I see this home has a spa. Is that different than a hot tub?

Answer:

Yes, this spa does have jets like a hot tub but it is not heated. This is a perfect are to sit and relax while enjoying the pool area.
