Take a trip to find your Lucky Charm. This adorable cottage, nestled beneath giant live oak trees, is your perfect spot to relax and escape to a more laid-back lifestyle! This perfect little cottage has been completely renovated with all new floors, ceilings, furnishings, and fixtures. The décor is bright and casual, but perfectly functional for a relaxing vacation. There's even a dock located on the tidal creek which is a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset.
Enter through the front porch, to an open living area complete with a welcoming large sectional sofa and a large flat-screen TV. Enjoy the charm from the moment you walk in. The cottage has undergone a whole new life, with all new decor from floor to ceiling. The kitchen becomes the focal point of the living area, with a large center island, and that doubles as a gathering space and dining area with 8 stools around the island. The brand new kitchen features all new stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops. There is a built-in wine/beverage fridge, as well as and a coffee bar that includes a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. Just past the living area is a second screened porch that is an extension of the living space and offers comfortable seating overlooking the natural landscape in the backyard just beyond with a beautiful view of the marshland and tidal creek. There's even the special touch of automatic uplighting into the trees in the front and backyard which adds a nice ambiance at night while sitting on both porches.
The Primary Bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and has a large wall-mounted TV. The attached bathroom has all new fixtures and a tiled walk-in shower. The bedroom has a view of the backyard and the serene marsh beyond and also has a door that connects with the screened porch. The two additional bedrooms, both furnished with Queen size beds and wall-mounted flat-screen TVs, share a full hall bathroom that has a tub and shower combination. Each bedroom has custom-built closet systems installed in them, so there's a place for all of your things.
The surf-style decor throughout this home brings a sense of whimsy and laid-back coastal attitude. The decor includes unique architectural details that have been added, including the custom wood-panel shiplap walls in the bedrooms that were made with reclaimed wood from the previous dock that was destroyed during one of Tybee's past hurricanes. The charm of the cottage extends to the fenced backyard where you can entertain your guests at the outdoor bar complete with a gas grill. Take in the Tybee breeze, and watch the landscape behind the house change daily as the tides change throughout the day.
Located on a quiet residential street, with the nearest beach access being about a half-mile away, or about an 11-minute walk. Bring your bikes, or rent some while you are here. Don't miss Tybee's Memorial Park or the Tybee Lighthouse. This home is pet-friendly for an additional fee. The backyard is partially fenced but does include a fully fenced dog run on the side of the home to keep your pets safe. There is parking for up to 3 vehicles. Wifi is available.
