Garden By The Sea

Garden by the Sea is a private home on the north end of Tybee Island with a beautiful backyard garden area designed for relaxing under the stars. Uniquely situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with mature oak trees, green grass, and a shady backyard oasis for a relaxing vacation at the beach. Guests will see the sunrise and the blissful sunsets visible from the home and the beach that is a quick 4-minute stroll away.

Enter the home from the second-story front porch, and walk into the open, spacious two-story living room with tall ceilings. The living area has a sleeper sofa, very comfortable furnishings, and a decorative fireplace with a large flat-screen TV mounted above. Just off the living room, the dining area is open to the kitchen and living areas and has seating for up to 8. The kitchen is fully equipped, with ample supplies, party platters, and all essential kitchen appliances, ready to take on family meals in a flash. The laundry area just off the kitchen has a full-size washer and dryer for guest use. The main living level has two bedrooms and a shared full bathroom. Both bedrooms have a Queen size bed and a TV. Enjoy your morning coffee from the second-story balcony, which is attached to the first bedroom.

Upstairs is a loft area, perfect for the kids, with many games and activities for the whole family. The loft includes a sleeper sofa and a daybed with a twin trundle bed for flexible bedding options. The loft is ready to work, with a dedicated built-in workstation. The top floor primary bedroom has a King size bed and a flat-screen TV. The ensuite bathroom has a tub with a shower combination. From the upstairs balcony, enjoy morning coffee on the attached balcony to watch the sun rising over the trees. When evening comes, enjoy the colorful sky as the sun sets to the west.

The ground-level garden area comes to life with a great outdoor living and entertainment space under the home. Bring the party downstairs for a good time with family, or just relax on the comfortable outdoor daybed. Enjoy outdoor picnics by day and evenings spent around the fire pit with twinkle lights and the stars above. There is a gas grill and an extra beverage fridge downstairs for the perfect cook-out experience.

Watch the sunrise and the North End sunsets visible from the house and the beach, which is only minutes away. You will be located just about 100 yards from the beach access at Polk Street. Cross the dunes to stroll the shoreline just around the bend to meet the North end jetty and view the Tybee Lighthouse from the beach. Check out the all-new Marine Science Center, located near the Lighthouse, overlooking North Beach. Bring your bikes, or rent them while you are here. This is the best way to see the Island.

PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches.

EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property.
