Description
Endless Summer is a waterfront property with three bedrooms and two baths that provides guests with a one-of-a-kind riverfront vacation experience in a gated neighborhood that most vacationers are unaware of. The house is on a spacious lot of over 1.5 acres, sheltered by ancient oak trees and with more than 300 feet of direct water frontage on Tybee's Back River, providing breathtaking views of the river and isolated Little Tybee Island. This is without a doubt one of Tybee's most spectacular sunset spots. From your expansive backyard, which includes a private pier with a large floating dock, watch dolphins frolic all day and see boaters and kayakers aplenty. Take advantage of all of the conveniences of home while also taking in the sights and sounds of the city.
Original slate floors, actual bamboo walls in the living area, and an outstanding ornamental stone fireplace are just a few of the unique features of the house. The home's main living space offers an open floor plan, beautiful views, and access to a huge covered and screened porch, which is ideal for relaxing and dining. Endless Summer features everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully outfitted kitchen with a dishwasher, washer, and dryer, as well as central heat and air. The living room has a combination table for 8-10 people, comfy furnishings, and a 42-inch flat-screen TV with DVD player. A Queen sleeper sofa is also available for alternative sleeping arrangements.
The home's main bedroom features a King-size bed as well as an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. There are two guest bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with a Queen bed. A communal bathroom with twin vanities, a walk-in shower, and a full-size washing and dryer is located in the corridor off the living area.
Parking is limited to four vehicles or three vehicles with a boat trailer. The fireplace depicted in the photos is not operational. Guests have access to corn hole boards, a charcoal barbeque, and high-speed wireless internet.
Dock Use: The private dock and floating dock are open for Guests' use. The floating dock can be used to dock small boats/watercraft (use at your own risk). The Owners reserve the right to access one side of the dock and will park in a separate driveway near the dock so as not to disturb your stay.
Beach Access: To access the beach you will need to travel by car out of the gated neighborhood. North Beach public beach access is about a mile away from the private gated entrance. (Note: Tybee is a pay-to-park community and charges for all public parking places). Those experienced on the water (with boats, kayaks, or jet skis) that are looking to enjoy a unique beach experience are encouraged to visit the beaches of Little Tybee Island located just across the Back River. Kayak or jet-ski rentals are available on Tybee Island.
About Little Tybee Island: A pure, uninhabited nature preserve, accessible only by boat, Little Tybee is actually more than twice Tybee Island’s size. This wilderness gem showcases rich coastal salt marshes; pristine beaches; natural dunes and subtropical forests of live oak, pine, and palm. Wildlife includes egrets, herons, white ibis, and the endangered wood stork. Roseate spoonbills, ospreys, and bald eagles are also often seen. Camping is allowed on the island.
MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.
PETS: This home is NOT pet-friendly.
EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. Please review your rental agreement for a full list of terms and policies.
