Creekside Livin is a family home with a backyard oasis, on Horsepen Creek, with a large fixed dock over the water for entertaining and a floating dock for launching kayaks or getting close to nature. Fully furnished with a balance of new and antique furniture, multiple large living areas, a fenced yard with patio, furnished screened-in porch, boathouse, and outdoor shower. The 5 bedrooms and 3 baths give this home plenty of room to spread out, relax, and enjoy the sunsets over the water.

Centrally located on the island, with its gardens, large trees, and landscaping, this home is a quiet nature retreat. It is a 10-15 minute walk down one residential street to the beach. The gardens start at the street with large mature trees, tables, and benches to greet your friends for coffee in the mornings. There is a lighted parking area for up to 4 cars directly in front of the house for easy access. The front entry opens to that comfortably furnished living room. The living room offers a flat-screen TV with built-in Surround Sound. Off the living room is a guest bedroom, including a bunk bed with a fold-down double futon on the bottom and a twin on top. There is a full bath with a walk-in shower attached to this bedroom with a full-sized washer and dryer.

The kitchen is updated with granite counters, stainless appliances, a dining table for 8, island seating for 3, and a breakfast table for 4. Behind the kitchen is another large living space that offers a 50-inch flat-screen TV with surround sound, comfortable lounge seating, a queen sleeper sofa, and a wall of windows looking out on the screened-in porch and courtyard. Off of this room is the true master bedroom of the home, offering a king bed, seating, TV, ceiling fan, beautiful views of the courtyard, and an attached bath, which is also accessible from the hall.

Down the hall from the main entry, you will find two guest bedrooms, both furnished with queen beds and another full kitchen and bath. There is an additional king bedroom with a door out to a hidden deck with a swing and gated access to the courtyard.

The outdoor spaces are a bonus! The house sits back from the street and away from traffic, creating a quiet oasis. The home includes a nicely furnished screened porch, open courtyard, large patio, outdoor shower, large deck over the water, floating dock, and a furnished boathouse. The boathouse is a great additional living space with seating, Ping Pong table, sink with running water, window AC, ceiling fan, small mini-fridge, and more. The dock is perfect for entertaining, fishing, birdwatching, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The 10X16 floating dock can be used to moor your boat or launch kayaks. You will love the Creekside location, peaceful setting, and newly updated living spaces.

Bringing a boat or kayak trailer? Call for approval. Wireless Internet is available for guest use. This cottage is considered handicap-friendly due to being ground level, not ADA compliant.

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.

PETS: This home is pet friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval and additional pet fees. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property.

EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (28+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property.
