Captains Quarters A is a duplex/apartment conveniently located only 1.5 blocks to Tybee's South beach, pier, restaurants, and shopping. This home is perfect for the budget traveler and couples. Tasteful furnishings, artwork, and accessories throughout the home. The living area features a sleeper sofa and a 32 inch TV. The dining area has seats 4.

The bedroom features a King-size bed and a large flat-screen TV. The large furnished sunroom in the front of the house is furnished with table seating for 4 - perfect for reading a good book and enjoying a good cup of coffee at any time of the day. The wall-mounted split a/c is perfect for keeping the apartment cool in summer months and warm in cooler months.

The large front yard has an outdoor brick (charcoal) BBQ and an additional gas grill for guest use.
There are a washer and dryer available for guest's use. The washer and dryer are shared with the neighboring unit. Parking for two cars and Wifi for guest use. Handicap friendly (ground level, no stairs; not ADA compliant).

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.

PETS: This home is not pet friendly

Winter Monthly Rentals
Available for any open 30+ day rental period between Nov. 2020 and Feb. 2021 for $1,500 monthly. Rates can vary depending on month and length of stay. Utilities are included, with a monthly electrical maximum. Additional rental fees total $480. Additional taxes and refundable security deposit required, and vary depending on the length of stay.

Cute Place
Nice place to stay. Would not recommend more than 2 people. It is small but comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it.

Ed and Gerri JacobsWe visited first week of March and hit a cool weather spell. We basically enjoyed our stay, place is small but homey Great place for two people The TVR staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, good advice on what to do, whete to eat, etc.

Tybee island is a fantastic place to vacation. We have stayed there 2 years in a row and with tybee vacation rentals at the same nice little place. Its great to have a place to call home while we are there. What made it special this year, we took my brother in law and sister in law with us, they stayed right next door in captian quarters B. a great vacation.

Nice and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay. It was plenty of space for two. It was within walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and the local market. I do recommend taking a nonstick skillet if you plan on cooking since there wasn’t one available.

Yes, there is a shared washer/dryer in the back of the building. This is shared with the other side of the duplex.

Is there a plug for a golf cart?

Answer:

This home does not allow for electric golf cart charging. If you are going to rent a golf cart, please make sure it is a gas powered one.
