The original raised Tybee Cottage places the main living level on the 2nd floor. Enter the home through the spacious screened porch, which wraps around two sides of the house and includes a dining table with seating for eight people. The main floor consists of two bedrooms and a fully renovated kitchen which features all new appliances and beautiful cabinetry, ready to prepare your favorite meals, complete with a center prep island and a bonus beverage/wine fridge. The wrap-around screen porch will be your favorite spot to enjoy the Tybee breeze all year. There is a convenient washer and dryer and wash sink on the back side of the porch.
The living area includes a sleeper sofa and a flat-screen TV—the two bedrooms on this level share one full bathroom and one half bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a king-sized bed, and Bedroom 2 is furnished with two Queen Beds and a TV.
Below the cottage, the remaining two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms are on the ground level. As typical in this era of construction, these living quarters are detached with no interior connecting stairs. The first bedroom on the ground level has a Queen size bed and a TV. There is a connected full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom is furnished with two full beds and has a connected half bathroom. In the covered patio area, guests will enjoy a Ping-Pong table, corn hole boards, a table for 6, and an outdoor seating area with a large flat-screen TV. It is a great space to hang out and relax. It even has a vintage-inspired refrigerator and microwave. Located just outside are a charcoal grill and an outdoor shower. Also found in this space is a half bath.
It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood that is great for walking and bike riding! Enjoy a convenient location without all the summertime congestion. Just four blocks from the Back River Beach, seven blocks to the main beach. Off-Street Parking for 5 cars (2 vehicles on either side of grassy area, 1 across the street).
MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property and dates of stay and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.
PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches.
EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid. The amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. The floors are separated by an exterior staircase. In order to access the downstairs bedrooms you will need to walk outside and use the staircase off the porch. The two bedrooms in the garage are as follows: One bedroom is separate (queen bed) and has its own private bathroom and entry door. The other bedroom has two double beds, its own entry and half bath. Both have central heating and air.
