Atlantic Oaks

We chose Tybee Island as the destination for our family getaway right after Christmas. This place was perfect for our family of 6 which included our two children and their spouses. This house is perfect for a vacation home. It is spacious, is in a wonderful location (only 2 blocks from the beach) and has every amenity you need. The hot tub was wonderful (although it had a little trouble maintaining heat but was very usable) The staff who managed the home were excellent and easy to work with. They answered all my emails in a prompt manner. We rented bikes at a super reasonable rate. The weather was a little chillier than we expected but that did not stop us from enjoying our stay. The place is very convenient for a day trip to Savannah (which we did) or even to hop over there for dinner (which we did) The house was super clean. The 3 bathrooms came in very handy. We cooked most meals there and the kitchen was perfect for that. If the weather was warmer, the screened-in porch would have been used a lot. It was a lovely porch. I cannot say anything bad about this place. I would highly recommend it. The island is small and easy to get around. Even though it is small, there is enough to keep you busy for a week (esp since it is right near a beach) and if it is raining, the house is so nice you will not mind staying indoors. There are games, books, ping pong table, dart board, TVs, etc) It felt like we were at home but not at home. So nice! I give this place a 5 star rating and the rental company a 5 star rating as well.

Tybee Vacation Rentals does a great job! Very clean. Atlantic Oaks is shady on hot days with lots of outside living space and a garage/ game room with a huge fan for the kids to hang out.

The house was perfect! Great location, close to the beach, and so quiet! Loved the library of great beach reads! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! Had a great time! Perfect for family gatherings!

Somebody loved staying at Atlantic Oaks! Everything was clean and ABOVE expectations when we arrived. We had a problem with the upstairs shower and called the office. Within 30 minutes a maintenance guy arrived and had fixed the problem! Everybody was very helpful and the house was in great condition. It had everything we needed for this to be our home away from home for a week!

This is a trip we started doing annually and the second time we stayed with Tybee Vacation Rentals! Loves the house! Perfectly appointed for our needs. Plenty of seating and space. Even more than we needed. Also great location on Tybee and short walk to the beach!

Our first time to Tybee and we really loved the house. There was plenty of room for our family of nine. We liked the screen porch and the outside showers for rinsing off the sand. The house is in a nice, quiet location.

First trip back to Tybee in many years. Loved it!! Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Atlantic Oaks!! House was very clean and had everything we needed for preparing meals. Having three baths was super nice! Master bedroom bed was sooo comfortable! Can't say enough good things about this place!!

Just spent a week at the relaxing Atlantic Oaks Tybee property with our family of 8 and LOVED this house! Fully stocked kitchen, washer and outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after beach days. Large master bedroom with 2 other large rooms! Having 3 full baths for our group. Enjoyed playing ping pong downstairs in a great space for the kids and cards on the porch in the cooler evenings - a fan in the garage would have been great as it got very warm playing pong. We rented bikes and loved riding down the pretty 2nd St to the south end. Perfect beach access and location. Highly recommend a stay at Atlantic Oaks. Wonderful memories made.

My family and I spent St. Patrick's day in Savannah and stayed at this lovely chic house located on Tybee Island. There were 6-8 people in our party ranging from 22-56. The younger adults enjoyed taking the shuttle from the island to savannah for the festivities while more mature adults .... myself and sister-in law enjoyed the screened in porch and backyard. The location was great and the house was very clean and set up nicely for cooking and serving cocktails. Excellent blender!!! Will definitely return to this house.

Atlantic Oaks was perfect for our family of five. Everyone had their own space to relax but there was also great spaces to be together. The back screened in porch was lovely! The house was also well stocked with cooking stuff so we ate in almost every meal, but it was nice being close to the main street to access the grocery store and beach. Even the garage with the ping pong table was a great retrear in the evenings with the kids. If it had a ceiling fan we would have been out there much more. The entire house was comfortable, cozy, and matched our personal style. I could see us renting here again!

Spending July 4th on Tybee was made even better when we checked in to Atlantic Oaks. A beautiful home in a quiet residential area, a quick walk to 6th Ave beach entrance. The screened in porch on the back was a heavenly place to start and end each day. Beautifully decorated, wonderfully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. If the house alone wasn't enough to make us truly relax and enjoy our vacation, any and all interaction with Tybee Vacation Rentals was wonderful. Highly recommend this property and am excited to return next year again, perhaps here, or one of the many other TVR properties seen while exploring the island.

The accommodations were awesome! No complaints at all! It was a slow, lazy, beach bum type of island. Not a lot to do or places to eat but Savannah took care of that!
