In true beach cottage fashion, the main level living space is on the second floor of the home. The ground level of the home is perfect for outdoor entertaining with a covered seating area perfect for outdoor games, corn hole, and activities. There is also a ground-level screened porch that overlooks the backyard and is perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. This home is pet-friendly and offers a fully fenced backyard.
Inside, guests are greeted with a newly updated kitchen and dining area. The large farm-style dining table offers seating for 8. The living room is comfortably furnished with a Queen Sleeper Sofa. The living room has a 42 inch Smart TV with cable and Roku. The Primary bedroom is furnished with a King-sized bed and has an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. The guest bedrooms are tastefully appointed, with a Queen bed and TV in one room, and 2 twin bunk beds, for a total of 4 persons in the second guest bedroom. There is also a shared full bathroom in the hall with a tub and shower combination. The fourth bedroom addition is furnished with a King-size bed and has a bathroom accessible from the hallway. The home is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer for guests' use.
Tybee's Central Island neighborhood is an eclectic mix of homes, both old and new construction. The streets are quiet and welcoming for guests looking for a home away from home. The Flying Pigs Cottage is located just one block away from 2nd Avenue, which is Tybee's designated safe street for bicyclists. Be sure to bring bicycles while visiting, or plan to rent some while you are here - it is the best way to see the Island! This home is Pet-friendly, with an additional fee. Parking for up to 4 vehicles.
MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.
PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches.
EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. Please review your rental agreement for a full list of terms and policies.

Love the house. Great for my family. The air conditioner did go out Sunday evening but we managed. Location was good to get to beach, short walk and with bikes was easy to get to shopping and food

I'm not sure if I'd stay at this condo again. The inside was very clean, but there was a lot of dog waste and fire ants in the backyard when we arrived. I liked the location. The size and design is nice if you have kids and dogs. The reason I question if I'd rent this one again is that the maintenance issues were not able to be resolved while we were there. The downstairs lights would not work and it was difficult for us to make our way from the driveway to the stairs at night. One of the showers leaked and that bathroom needed a lot of towels and attention to keep floor dry. The rental had a lot to offer - nice sitting and dining areas, adequate kitchen, laundry room, screened in patio, and sufficient parking.

- Within 30 Days Prior to Arrival, 100% is due at the time of Booking.
Cancellations
- Arrival window is within 31 days or more, all advanced payments will be refunded less $175 taxed cancellation fee.
- Arrival window within 15 to 30 days, a partial refund of 50% of rent and a $175 cancellation fee will be retained.
- Arrival window within 14 days or less, all payments are non-refundable.
