This week's featured area is Tybee’s North Island Beach and area. Part of this area is known as Fort Screven. The beaches at the North end of the island have much calmer water and little to no wave action. You can visit the historic Tybee Island Lighthouse and museum while visiting or staying on the north end. There are a few local restaurants and smaller local shops located on this part of the island and very little traffic.
