Mary Kay Andrews, New York Times bestselling author and native Georgian, has written many of her famous books in her homes on Tybee Island and gained inspiration from our lovely beaches and unique environment. As a self-proclaimed lifelong “junker,” she has lovingly restored her two island homes, Ebbtide, Coquina Cottage, and Breeze Inn (named after two of her personal novels), which are active rentals in our vacation rental program. Both are beautifully decorated eclectic beach homes with unique details around every corner and in every nook and cranny. From the design to all the details and cottage-style touches throughout, guests will feel right at home during their vacation. Mary Kay Andrews is also pleased to offer an autographed novel and welcome note on each stay!


Ebbtide 

Ebbtide is a unique 7 bedroom, 5 bathroom historic raised beach cottage circa 1932. Ebbtide offers many original features such as the board & batten wood paneling and wood ceilings to the beautiful hardwood floors. Located just the second house back from the beach on Tybee’s mid-island, you can easily enjoy time at the beach with your family just steps from your front door.



Coquina Cottage

Splash into Coquina Cottage! Originally built in 1935, Coquina Cottage is a Tybee beach cottage that has been lovingly restored and decorated throughout with an eclectic mix of fun, new furnishings, and revitalized vintage finds. The adorable house pays homage to the past while providing a distinct, charming beach vibe throughout. It's truly a Tybee cottage enthusiast's dream come true. Guests will have a splashing good time in the brand new in-ground pool and patio with an attached jetted spa, ready to refresh and delight guests all year long.



Breeze Inn

Breeze Inn is a circa 1943 remodeled 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom beach cottage that is located only 2 short blocks away from the beach. This cottage has charm and beach-style elegance everywhere you look thanks to it being decorated from top to bottom with family-friendly vintage and antique finds collected from around the country.
